Kino in der KulturBrauerei
The heart of the festival: opening night, award ceremony, reception.
About the cinema
The Kino in der KulturBrauerei stands on the grounds of the former Schultheiss brewery in Prenzlauer Berg — a listed red-brick ensemble from the late 19th century that today houses a cinema, a theatre, concert halls and a museum.
It is run by CineStar. Eight screens with 1,587 seats between them make it the largest of the three festival cinemas — and the only one that brings audience, guests and press together in one place. That is why it is the festival centre: the opening night, the award ceremony and the reception all happen here.
Accessibility
Step-free access, wheelchair spaces in every screen.
