A non-profit association brings the cinema of the world to Berlin.
Around the World in 14 Films is a registered non-profit association. It runs the festival, and it can do so because its members carry it.
Every year the festival brings films to Berlin that would otherwise never reach a cinema here, as Berlin or German premieres, with guests from around the world and patrons from German cinema. The supporters’ association is what makes that possible.
As a supporting member
- One free ticket plus companion for the opening film and the opening night
- One free ticket plus companion for the first closing film and the award ceremony
- A credit by name in the festival trailer, shown before every screening
- Post from the festival, once a year
Becoming a member
An informal email or letter to the address below, giving your name, postal address and email address. Then transfer 100 euros to the association’s account.
Bank details: Around The World in 14 Films e.V., Berliner Sparkasse, IBAN DE49 1005 0000 6603 0269 19, BIC BELADEBEXXX. Please give „Förderbeitrag” and the year as the payment reference.
The application makes you a member, at 100 euros a year. Membership ends when the following year’s contribution is not paid. Nobody has to cancel.
